Christmas Cards to the Community

The Christmas Cards to the Community art project highlights the creativity of our local school children. Students from elementary to high school create 4′x8′Christmas cards that are enjoyed by thousands of visitors each year.

Prizes

There are three divisions:elementary,middle,and high school.  Each division receives the following:

  • 1st Place:$100 Cash Prize
  • 2nd Place:$50 Cash Prize
  • 3rd Place:$25 Cash Prize

Best of Show will also be awarded a $125 cash prize.

Reception

A reception for participating students and teachers will be held on Thursday,Thursday,November 29,2012,from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Beaird Hall at the Gardens of the American Rose Center.  Prizes will be awarded at the reception.
