Rain droplets fall on the thorn
On a sunny day they sparkle
Smell so epic
Exotic look
A rose for you
May not be blue
Bet it matches your shoe
I’m stuck to it like glue
Bet I can give it to you
I hope you appreciate it,too
So here’s a rose for you

I was little when a mysterious thing happened. It was scary, but I was only two months old. I was way too little to understand. My grandfather and I knew mommy enjoyed roses. We decided to plant a rose for mommy. Papa an I ran off to the garden. I got mommy a white rose because mommy loved white. The next morning it was blue and red. The next morning the rose was pink, red, blue, and gold.

A World of Roses
A world of roses
Would be gorgeous
It would be better than just plain largess
The pretty sight would be the best
It could put a couples’love to the test
Roses are red and also can be blue
A world of roses would be pretty, too
They put people out of depression
They put people out of stress, and
People would take care of the Earth
Planting roses ’cause they’re passionate

Washing down the brook
was two beautiful roses.
Who was letting those two beautiful roses
flow down the brook?
Somebody sitting on the bank was picking
the roses and letting them flow.
They must be sad or lonely,
I thought to myself.

I bought so many roses
I went bankrupt
I used multicolored roses
to spell ‘I love roses’
I used red and black to make a clock
Me and my family change the time everyday
My finger hits the thorn and it bleeds
Everything is parted in roses,everything
I love roses

Many,Many Roses
Roses are important to me for several different reasons. There are so many types of roses that come in all different colors, names, and shapes. This reminds me of all the different people in our world. Perhaps, for this reason, the rose is he national flower. When you look around, you notice that roses are everywhere, which is another reason the rose is a good choice for national flower.
A few examples of roses in my life include the roses my uncle grows. In his backyard in California,he grows grandiflora roses. The yellow one are beautiful. In our yard we don’t have any,but I love to eat apples from the apple tree in my family’s backyard. I believe that five petal roses look a lot like apple blossoms. Although I have never eaten a rose,my mom sometimes makes rice pudding flavored with rose water and cardamom. Our neighbor Mark has tea roses in his front garden and at Trader Joe’s there are miniature roses in pots that my mom bought. They brighten up our winter. Just this week,I noticed lots of shrub roses along the road on the way to day camp. They seem to like warm June weather.
When I think of roses,I think of every single rose that I can imagine, including some that haven’t been invented yet. I would like to be a botanist when I grow up and invent new ones.
My favorite singer,Lisa Lowe, sings a song about climbing roses. It’s called “Love is a Rose”and goes,“Love is a rose but you’d not pick it. Only grows when it’s on the vine. Handful of thorns and you know you’ve missed it. Love your love when you say the word ‘Mine’.”For some reason this makes me think of a rosette rose, which has so many petals, and someone who is selfish and keeps all of those petals for himself. The great thing about roses is that there are enough for everybody!

A long time ago there was a flower swap.
We drew names and a girl picked my name and I got a rose! Then,I got another rose, then I planted them both and they grew tall and taller and the bloomed.
They are red roses,or they might be black roses,or green, yellow, white, blue, orange, brown, purple, gray roses. All different kinds of roses.
My nanny loves roses,so do I. I love roses so much. They smell so pleasant. Some people eat roses. Do you like roses? I know that I love roses.
I bet you like roses. I guess some people don’t like roses. I bet they haven’t seen roses before. I’ve got roses and they bloom;it smells so good. It is a red rose. I love them so badly. They smell so wonderful!

Cherry Top
I see a rainbow and all of its beauty to see all of its beautiful things. But what’s this I see here? Well, that’s a rose. You are a gorgeous flower. Look at the top of your head,it looks like a cherry. I think I’ll call you Cherry Top. Such a wonderful name. You’re just a rose but, when I see you, you’re wonderful in so many ways. Do you mind if I give to a girl? Her name is Alicia. She would be quite pleased. Cherry Top said yes and they were off to find the girl. She was shocked;she loved the rose. thank you Cherry Top,you are a nice rose, and Cherry Top was happy that he got home with the girl. He was excited to have all these friends. It was an adventure.

Across from my house there laid a big field of all sorts of roses. I stopped and thought for a minute. What if I had a rose and what if it came alive? If the rose was nice,it would be so brilliant! Even though the sign said,‘Do NOT ENTER!’Gulp! I did anyway. I never did do something so terrifying before. So I was very terrified. I tried not to think about what was going to happen. Creek! Oh no! It’s the door! What shall I do?
“Hey,what are you doing in my rose patch?!”
“I’m sss-oo-rr-y.”
“Oh,it’s fine,you don’t have to be sorry.”
“But,are you mad because of the sign?”
“Oh,no,that was from Halloween. So what were you doing here?”
“I was just wanting a rose. I’m sorry.”
“Oh,you can pick out two and take them home in this vase.”
“Thank you,I will take great care of them.”
As soon as I got home, ahh, they came to life and were so kind and polite.

Picasso Rose Goes to the Big Apple
I was drawn by the well known artist Picasso. I used to be in France’s most famous art museum, but 5 years ago I broke out to seek adventure. So,here I am in the Big Apple. People are rude, crude, and obviously mean. The reason I’m staying in this dump is because of Broadway. It’s hard to live here but today’s going to be a good day because I am waiting to perform, wait for it,on Broadway! Yes! What is my talent? My talent is changing colors.

A Poem
As I walked through isles of roses the sun shined on them like a star in the midnight sky
And the wind blew through my hair
I laid down in the roses where I wouldn’t get hurt
And I smelled the freshest roses I could ever smell
I touched one
Ow,ow,I got pricked by a thorn
Blood poured out the same color as the rose
But they are so beautiful I forgave them
It was was my fault
Then I picked a bundle for my mom
I put them in a vase and gave them to her.
I love roses,yes I do
You should,too.
Probably smell like you
They’re sweet,cute,and beautiful
They fill my heart with joy from the toes to the head.
I’m filled with the rose’s love
You can be filled with it,too, just believe in the rose’s magic
So you should love roses like I do.

A lot of people really like roses, right? But why? Is it because they come in a variety of colors? Maybe they smell really good. It could be the fact that roses are the symbol of love, peace, beauty, and friendship. But,you see, these things are all good things about roses. Does anybody even consider looking at the bad things about roses? Well, they should.
Everything has its goods and bads. A bad thing about me is that my two big toes are a little longer than average length. A good thing about me is that I’m really smart. Candles, yeah, candles have bad things and good things, too. A good thing about candles is that they smell good. A bad thing about candles is that they can hurt a small kid who touches the fire on top. This could really hurt.
A bad thing about roses is that they have thorns, big and small. If you have a small field of roses then someone might try to run through the roses. Then, while running, that someone may not realize that they have thorns in their body until they have left the field. This person may need to go to the doctor to get the thorns removed. This will cost money.
Another bad thing about roses is that when you buy roses they need to be watered. To keep them watered costs money. If you don’t water the roses they’ll die. Once the beautiful roses die then you might get depressed. Once you’re depressed then you may want to go see a therapist. This costs money.
So,do you see now? Roses aren’t just a symbol of love, peace, and friendship. And roses are aren’t just colorful, smell good flowers. Roses have their bad things, too.

The Rose
I lay in the grass,by the beautiful rose, rain droplets start to fall and it makes me want to pose, the sun still shines, and it forms a rainbow.
I begin to dance in the rain and laugh as he rain begins to pour. I lay in the grass,by the beautiful rose, the rain starts to stop. I smile as the scent of the rose fills the air.
As the water drizzled from my hair it fell on the petals of the rose. As the first star in the sky appeared in the sky,the red, silky rose started to close up. This rose was the prettiest rose that I had ever seen!

The Rose
The ravishing beauty of the rose makes me exclaim, wow! Its beautiful, summery, astonishing colors give me a sensation. The variety of roses sets off a glowing radiance. But watch out for thorns;they might hurt.
The rose lights up our homes, lives, and gardens. The rainbow is the only way to explain all the types. The majestic petals,so elegant and luscious, they make me feel like I’m in luxury.
If laid down in a bed of roses, without a stem, without thorns, the delicate petals flattening out below me. The rose, exotic, ravishing, lovely, majestic, radiant, elegant, luscious, delicate, beautiful flower called the rose.

A Day to Remember
I was walking through the grass barefoot as rain pelted off the ground. All of a sudden roses germinated here, there, and everywhere. I felt like I was dreaming but I knew it was true. Everything came to me that very moment. I was a girl with a fashion for roses. The smell of roses put an aroma in the air. I took a whiff and then bam! I was laying in the grass, and rain dripping down my face.
Roses outlined my body as I lay still like a statue. I hopped up and then watched as the rain made roses pop up where I was laying. It was still raining when the sun was peaking out from behind the clouds;then in a blink of an eye a rainbow filled the sky.
It shocked me because the white white roses turned to be tie-dye roses and the purple, yellow, red, pink, and orange roses made them look like shining stars in the sky. The colors combined together stunned my eyes. The rain stopped as soon as the rainbow dissolved out of the sky. The roses vanished all but a few, which the rest of the roses spelled roses.
Then I realized roses are incredibly beautiful and unique. They can make people feel happy.

Why the Rose is America’s National Flower
The rose was chosen as the official flower of the United States of America in 1986. The president of the United States of America,Ronald Regan, proclaimed the rose as the National Floral emblem of the United States of America. Each of the 50 states has also adopted an official state flower, including the rose in New York, the Oklahoma rose in Oklahoma,Cherokee rose in Georgia, and the wild prairie rose in Iowa and North Dakota. Researchers indicate that roses have been around for 35 million years and grow naturally throughout North America. Roses maybe a red, ruby flower to you,but it’s more than that! To start off,the rose is America’s national flower. Roses represent many aspects of our history. some people treasure only four of the following;they are love, beauty, peace, and friendship, but there are other implications, too. You can find roses almost every place in America and in every color, mostly Red,pink, yellow, and white The rarest rose is the blue rose.
The important reason why the rose is America’s national flower is as follows. In 1986,the US Congress passed an act declaring the Rose to be the “floral symbol”of the US. The following is a quote from President Regan at the signing of this act:“Americans ave always loved the flowers with which God decorates our land. More often than any other flower,we hold the rose dear as the symbol of life and love and devotion,of beauty, and eternity. For the love of man and woman, for the love of mankind and God,for the love of country,Americans who would speak the language of heart do so with a rose.”
The rose has a long part in the United States’history. The first president of the Unites States,George Washington, grew roses for his mother;he even named a few after his mother. The rose resembles too many things like, for example:God,love, beastliness, and eternity. Did you also know that the rose goes back to the time of the Olympians of Greek Mythology? The Olympian Aphrodite, loved roses;in fact her power was love and beauty. The rose represents her. Like other flowers, the rose has a smell of its own and by nature it is very attractive to people.

Roses
I love roses. They are so pretty. Two of my favorite kinds of roses are Climbing Roses and Hybrid Perpetual roses. It is one of my favorite roses because all of their petals are close in the middle and then they spread out. I like white roses, yellow roses, and pink roses.
I often give my mom roses. Some people get roses after a dance recital. People also give others roses when they do well on something. I enjoy getting roses because they smell wonderful. Some occasions that you could get roses are when a baby is born. Also, after any kind of recital. I got roses after my dance recital a few years ago. My mom loves roses because they smell good and they are pretty.
Some people don’t like roses. That’s not my opinion. Climbing roses are some pretty roses, but they can get out of hand. Some reason I like Hybrid Perpetual roses is because they have pointy and kind of rounded edges. Some Perpetual roses are white on the inside and are pink along the edges. Roses are a symbol of loveliness and fragrance. A rose is the flower of England. In the world most roses are wild roses.
I love roses because they remind me of life;they start out small and then they blossom into a big and beautiful living thing. I think that the thorns represent that we will have bumps along the way and everything doesn’t turn out the way we plan. Some people think that white roses are plain and ugly so what they do is they die them another color. My favorite kinds of roses are white roses, pink roses, and orange roses.

Roses
When I see roses they make me smile. I give some to my mom and dad. When I see the beautiful red flower,I am amazed by how pleasant the flower is. The flower is wonderful to look at and great to smell, but the best part of all is watching the expressions on people’s face when you give them roses. I love all different colors in that one little flower. Roses are the prettiest flower in the world.
When roses bloom everyone will see them. I love roses so much. My mom loves them and makes sure they are in a vase on the table at dinner. When I see roses,I think of love and a new beginnings. At a funeral you see roses and think that a person is in a better place. Roses make me think about valentine’s Day or a victory. When I have a dance recital I get roses. Roses have come a long way and I think all Americans should love them more than any other flower. I love that not one rose has the same arrangement of petals.
The rose is a symbol of fragrance and loveliness. Roses come in beautiful shades of pink, red, yellow, and white. When roses bloom I start to smile but for long because I know they’ll die. When I see the gorgeous colors in the flower it makes me feel like I am at home. I see roses at summer camp and it makes me feel at home and like my mom is right in the next room over. I love roses and my family does, too. When the roses bloom you must take advantage of this opportunity because they are the prettiest for only a short, short time. I love roses and they are my favorite flowers in the world and I hope you love them, too.

Beautiful Roses
The rose is a symbol of fragrance and loveliness. There are many types of roses including:yellow, briers, damask roses, and many climbers. These all bloom one a year around early summer. Roses also come in beautiful colors which are:pink,,red, yellow, and white. Some roses, such as the teas and hybrid teas, smell like fruit.
My opinion about roses and why they are so romantic is because of their striking beauty and smell. On Valentines Day,many couples give roses to one another because it is so romantic to many people. I have also realized many roses are usually blood red My favorite kind of rose is a white and yellow rose. There are many roses in the world but all are unique.
One day I hope they create a blue rose and a green rose. I do not exactly understand how to breed roses but if new colors were created there would be a new kind of romance. Say,for example,a girls favorite color is blue and she wants a blue rose and they have newly created a blue rose but the girl does not know this. Then, her boyfriend asks her on a date. When she shows up,there is her favorite color, but on a rose. Then a new kind of romance blooms between the girl and boy. This is my opinion about creating a new kind of rose.
Roses are also quite important to many people. You see, what if there were no roses and the world just stunk? Well, that would not be good. Roses have a meaning in the world but so do many other flowers.

Roses
I love roses. Roses are so bright and vibrant. They are so pretty. Roses smell amazing! They make the perfect gift for your mother. Roses always cheer me up when I see them. I love the way roses smell. They are my favorite flower!
Roses put smiles on everyone’s face. Some people ask which do you like better:a rose or a daffodil? Well, that’s easy,a rose of course. They are so beautiful. I think they’re beautiful because of their colors. Some people say violets are more beautiful than roses. I have to say no on that one. The rose is such a wonderful flower! It is just so bright. The brightness is one of my favorite things about the rose. My dad always gives my mom roses for their anniversary. Oh,how they bright the room. They just remind me of my mom, grandma, and my aunts because they all love roses.
Red roses are pretty;yellow roses are even more pretty;and then we have the white rose. The white rose is my favorite rose. That rose is just so,well, amazing and beautiful. It’s amazing and beautiful because the shade of white it is. Now,the white rose is special to me. I don’t know why but it is. The white rose is my favorite rose. Now,the yellow rose. That rose isn’t as pretty as the white rose. The yellow is my second favorite rose. I love the shade of yellow it is. I mean,it is just so glorious and magnificent. If we put roses in our yard our dogs would trash them, but they must not see their beauty. The yellow rose would be the second best rose to get for your mom. And it could be the best rose to give to a sick relative or your grandma. Now your grandma would love the yellow rose. My mom and I love all the roses there are. The yellow rose is wonderful. And the red rose is a nice gift for Valentine’s Day. The red rose is my leave favorite rose.
I love Roses
I love roses for many different reasons. For most people, and for me,the rose is one of the most beautiful flowers there is on Earth. It is a symbol of fragrance and loveliness.
Roses come in many colors. My favorite is the red rose. I feel it means love. I can take roses to my date, which I know she would love. My second choice would be yellow, which means friendship. My last choice is white, which my mom says means purity.
I love to give roses to friends and family that are in the hospital. Roses make them feel better because they are pretty and smell good. I love to give roses to my mom because she loves them as much as my grandpa did.
I love roses because they brighten up the garden and make things look beautiful outside. Roses grow especially well in temperate and mild climates and in good, rich soil.
I know my grandpa loved all roses, from the miniature rose to roses that climb fences. The most popular of garden roses are all hybrids. This means they are a mixture of two other roses.
My grandpa usually had roses that bloomed in the summer. These roses are called perpetual roses. He would sit down and order roses from catalogs to make his yard looking awesome through the summer months.
I think my main reason, though, for loving roses is because my grandpa loved them and I loved my grandpa very much. Even though he is dead, some of his roses are still growing. It’s like his spirit is with me when I look at them. And,like a red rose,it fills my heart with love.

Grandfather’s Rose Garden
When I was young,I spent a lot of my time at my grandfather’s house. He was a florist who loved his job. He taught me all about flowers. His favorite flower,he said, was the rose. My grandmother, who had died several years before, loved roses, too. My grandmother’s favorite rose was the John F. Kennedy rose.
My grandfather missed my grandmother dearly and had planted roses all over her garden. My grandfather passed away last year. I miss him.
I loved my grandparents dearly. I have planted roses in my garden as a tribute to my grandparents. The sight and smell of roses remind me of my dear grandparents.

Roses
I love roses! I love to sniff them in the spring time. My favorite type of rose is the Grandiflora rose. This Valentine’s Day I got my grandma a Grandiflora rose and she loves it. It go so big we had to transplant it outside. Its petals are pinkish-red. I also have rose bushes at my house. I have four of them. In the spring my brother and I like to go and look at them. He likes to look at the tiny bugs that crawl on them. My other grandma has Hybrid Tea roses in front of her porch. They are very big and white. I think the rose is our national emblem because they are beautiful like our country. There is also a lot of stuff with roses in them. There is a college championship game that is held at the rose bowl. Also, before the rose bowl, there is a parade called the rose parade. All the floats are made out of roses and they are beautiful. I wish I could go. I love roses and think everyone should have roses in their yard. They smell beautiful. I wish that roses would stay up all year around. That way,I could always see them. Roses are a lot of people’s favorite flowers –especially me. There are a lot of other pretty flowers, but I don’t think there are any more prettier than the rose. I think the rose represents love because it is such an extraordinary looking flower. People give them to each other because it is a sign of love. I even know some people in my class who have the name rose. Roses are awesome! When I get older,I am going to plant roses all over my yard. I love roses!

Red Rose
I woke up with a jolt
I smelled the roses
I was still trying to wake myself
But the smell filled my nose
I open the cold door
My hand chilled
I walked through the isle of blue and red roses
The thorns scratched my finger,it started to bleed
The red was as pure as the rose
Blood trickled on the top
Together they combined, the purest of red rose
The rose was polished with my purified bloom
I kept the blood stained red,the water was being sucked into the roots
It was high in the air
It brought the families together
I can’t thank the rose’s beauty for the family

Why I Love Roses
The roses are amazingly beautiful. I love roses and I think a lot of people love roses, too. The rose is the favorite flower of 85% of America. In the morning, the sun shines on the rose and the rose looks very marvelous. I think the rose is an outstanding flower and everyone should plant roses in their garden. I have three marvelous reason why I admire the rose.
First,I love the rose because they have an outstanding allure. For me,the rose’s out of this world beauty eternally amazes me. My dear little spoiled brother was allergic to the flower. Any way,I still like roses and I like their charm. I feel very sorrowful for the people who have an allergy to roses, but I think they can still adore the beauty of the rose, although they can’t get close. The allure of the rose’s beauty lures me and that is the first reason why I love roses.
Secondly,I love roses for its luscious essence. The rose’s sweet smell always lures me like like a bear attracted to the sweet smell of honey. I am the only one in my family that likes the sweet smell of roses. The think that makes me like the smell of the rose is that the smell is refreshing. I like to take a deep breath and, after,I study for most of the hour.
Third reason why I love roses is that I like to collect the roses that fall from the tree and sit on the soft ground filled with roses that have fallen. My brother likes to sit on the leaves that have fallen, but I think that he likes to sit on the roses, too, but I don’t think he is able to because of his allergy.
I hope everybody comes to love roses. My dog likes the rose tree in my front yard. My dog likes to sleep under the tree and also likes to pee under the tree. I hear that pee is healthy for plants. My mom doesn’t like it because she stepped on it. I like all kinds of roses:red, white, and other kinds. I hope everybody comes to like roses.

This is the time that I moved and planted roses. The move was hard to do,but my Mom said that we could plant roses in the front yard! Then,I got really joyful. I could not wait until we got there.
finally we are here. Now,lets get the supplies to work on the roses. OK,I got the supplies;let’s get to work. I love to plant roses because they smell so good. That is some hard work. I will go make drinks,Mom said.
That was some good grape juice. Only one bush left;do you want to plant it? Yes,I would be delighted to plant the last rose bush. They smell lovely. I love to plant roses. We planted five rose bushes and they all smell –well, there are so many ways to describe the roses,I can’t think of a way to say it. I love roses. They make our house so beautiful.

Roses
Roses are beautiful because they are very elegant. They come in many different colors. They are beautiful open or closed.
I especially like roses because “rose”is my middle name. Roses are elegant because they are a red color. Not a wild bright color. Roses can be given as presents and can be given as a random act of kindness for your girlfriend, friend,or spouse. Roses make great anniversary,Valentine’s Day,birthday,or graduation gifts.
A lot of things have been inspired by roses. Songs, bands, and names have been inspired by roses. My grandma and I both have middle names inspired by roses.
Roses have very sharp thorns. That is where the song “Ever Rose has its Thorn”came from. I love receiving roses. They mean a lot to many people, including me. People have done many things with roses over the years. They have even dipped roses in gold! I like tat idea because that way you can keep your rose forever and not worry about it wilting.
Roses have a heavenly smell that I love. We have a rose bush growing by our house and it smells great! Roses are beautiful, elegant, and are American’s favorite flower. Roses are a sign of love. I think they are the coolest and prettiest flower in the world.
During the many times I receive roses,I often feel that someone cares about me and loves me. I also feel that when I give someone roses we grow closer together. On Valentine’s Day I often have to hide the roses from my mom to make it a surprise to her. Roses make me and everyone around me smile. My grandma makes sure that every summer she has roses on her front and back porch.
Roses came in many different colors and some even rainbow. That is why I love roses.

Poems
Lilies are orange
Tulips are yellow
Roses are really good garden fellows
Irises are purple
Daisies are white
They can really be bright
Hit the softball,not the rose
Be careful,don’t hit your nose
Because when it blows it might hit your toes!
Scented roses are the best
But they don’t get along with the rest!
