America's largest park dedicated to roses is a perfect site for a leisurely stroll, a company picnic, family photo sessions or a picture-perfect wedding. Open to tour buses or individuals, this is a breathtaking garden you'll talk about for years to come!
The Gardens of The American Rose Center host a vast array of activities and events throughout the year including:
Rose Horticulture/Education | Corporate/Private Events | Fund-Raisers | Weddings | Family Reunions | Memorial Services | Receptions | Holiday Parties | Casual Picnics and Crawfish Boils | Rose Trials/Shows | Public/Private School Functions | Wedding Fair | Christmas in Roseland
The Gardens are in bloom from spring to fall, but when April brings the first peak bloom, we honor it with our Celebration of Spring Bloom. The second peak bloom occurs in mid-October. Join us then for our Fall Bloom Fest! The gardens are lovely throughout the summer, but these two seasons are the most spectacular!
Between Thanksgiving and the New Year, the 118-acre park is transformed into a whimsical sparkling wonderland; “Christmas in Roseland”, where visitors can walk through a fantasyland featuring millions of twinkling lights, animated scenes, and enjoy live entertainment.
